Last month, the Austin Area Birthing Center opened its third location; this one in Cedar Park. The new center can accommodate 25-30 births per month and will have three midwives. The center offers three birthing suites, two waiting areas, a prenatal clinic, a teaching room for free classes, a kitchen and dining area, three nurses stations, a lab, laundry facilities, and a staff kitchen and lounge. Each of the suites have water birth tubs and birthing stools.
