Glamtrepreneur, a program that allows girls to learn now to start their own business, now has an event that is open to the public. Its previous events have been done for nonprofit groups like Girl Scouts.
Saturday, Nov. 14, girls in third grade to sixth grade can learn about entrepreneurship by brainstorming a business, “buying supplies,” manufacturing products and marketing the product for sale. The product is a bracelet designed by the girls. Find it 11 to 2 p.m. Nov. 14, Anderson Mill Community Center, 11500 El Salido Parkway.
