Last week we reminded you about keep kids in cars safe from the heat and from improper car seat usage. We told you about a couple of new products to help you not forget that your kids is in the backseat.
We heard from Austinite Dan Mimis, who has developed a product called Never4get.us. It is a system of two pads. You put one pad on the car seat and one pad on the driver’s seat. When the pad senses there is a child pushing against the car seat pad, it sends an alarm to the pad on the driver’s seat pad when the driver’s seat pad is no longer being pressed against (because the driver is exiting the car). It will sell for $30 once it becomes available. Right now it is patent pending.
