Hot and sunny Mother’s Day weekend for these family events, May 12-14

It’s going to be a gorgeous Mother’s Day weekend. Hint: Dads, take the kids to these events and let mom have a day/weekend to herself — after breakfast in bed, of course.

Friday

KUTX Live at Mueller. Spare the Rock brings together family-friendly music. This month it’s Yes Ma’am Brass Band. 7 p.m. Friday. Free. Lake Park Amphitheater.
